As soon as you have perfected your grip, you have to work on teeing off. At this moment, your concentration will truly going to come into the fore. Some new players have been confused by the essentials concerning the backswing and downswing. The designation of the downswing is meant to generate the momentum of the club and the power behind the ball. You accomplish this by swinging your arms in one single, fluid motion. The need to execute the swing with both hands or wrists must be fighted because this is an arm movement.

The backswing concept has completely different mechanics behind it. The backswing should be a lot slower than the downswing, but it should be just as powerful and it should complement the golf swing. You should also remember that your downswing should be faster than you’re your backswing by around 25 percent and 30 percent.

Your backswing motion should have your left shoulder and your hips in correct position, especially as you transfer your weight to the right. Nonetheless, this movement is in reverse for lefthanded players. If you practice this motion then in time, it will turn into natural for you.
